New BBI Airport

The new BBI airport is being developed south of Berlin-Schönefeld terminal. The runway will be four kilometres long. A motorway and a train station located underneath the new terminal will provide excellent connections to the city and the surrounding region.

 

As of 2012, tourists and business people will enjoy a full schedule of international flights from BBI airport. The first terminal will be a six-storey building and serve between twenty-two and twenty-five million passengers per year. Further modules to be developed progressively will increase the airport’s capacity to up to forty million passengers.
