Service economy

The capital region catches the eye with the language skills of its international workforce. The favorable cost structures, low staff fluctuation and inexpensive rental prices for office space are additional convincing factors. The region is therefore the ideal locational environment for shared services centers, production-related financial service providers, as well as for customer service centers. These were the factors that tipped the balance in the decision by the BASF European Shared Service Center and the IKEA Germany Human Resources Service Center to choose Berlin-Brandenburg as their location. Industry experts and executives meet and greet at events like the Shared Services Week.
